why our new zealand olive oil tastes grassy
The Hanson's grove where some of our oil comes from. The reason why our olive oil tastes grassy is that it is grown in lush green ex-sheep pastures which have been well manured for decades.
The olives are currently growing on the trees and we are just starting to think about picking in June.
